Eric Trump says current financial system is ‘broken’: is that a positive for Bitcoin Pepe?

Bitcoin is in focus this morning after the second son of the US President, Eric Trump, reiterated his bullish view on blockchain technology.

According to Trump, the current financial system is “broken, slow, and expensive.”

In fact, all that it offers can be done better on blockchain, he added.

Trump even said that banks will eventually go extinct if they don’t evolve in time, as “SWIFT is an absolute disaster.”

BTC could continue to hit new milestones over time as financial giants switch to blockchain tech, and that added layer of legitimacy on crypto assets could drive more interest in up-and-coming meme coins as well like Bitcoin Pepe.

Why are Trump’s remarks a positive for Bitcoin Pepe?

Eric Trump has been a vocal advocate of cryptocurrencies. At the Bitcoin MENA conference last year in Abu Dhabi, he even said that Bitcoin could hit as much as a $1 million valuation over time.

And if the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap does indeed rally aggressively to meet Trump’s forecast, a bunch of other crypto assets, particularly Bitcoin Pepe, could move in tandem with it.

Why? Because the meme coin is marketing itself as the world’s only Bitcoin meme ICO. Continued upside in Bitcoin could drive more confidence in the crypto market in the coming years.

While professional investors will likely stick to Bitcoin for outperformance, retail investors restricted in terms of capital available to invest could turn to more affordable coins like Bitcoin Pepe over the next few years for explosive returns.

What makes Bitcoin Pepe worth owning in 2025?

Investors should note that the “world’s only Bitcoin meme ICO” narrative is already sitting well with global investors, given the meme coin has already raised more than $7.7 million during presale.

The presale is nearing stage 10, which will trigger once total contributions cross $7.78 million.

Historically, robust initial demand often precedes a surge in investor interest once a crypto token begins trading on exchanges, typically accompanied by a sharp price increase.

That pattern has yet to fully play out for Bitcoin Pepe, suggesting the current phase may offer a strategic entry point for those seeking early exposure ahead of potential upside.

Note that Bitcoin Pepe is committed to instant transactions and ultra-low fees as well.

So, it’s a meme coin that’s not relying entirely on hype but is actively focusing on utility as well. That’s what makes it even more exciting to own in 2025.
